We understand that plans change and life gets unpredictable. However, we’ve noticed more last-minute cancellations lately, and we want to gently remind everyone how important timely updates are. When an appointment is missed or canceled at the last minute, that time can’t always be filled—and it directly affects our technicians and their schedules.

To keep everything running smoothly, Dahlia keeps a card on file for all appointments. This card may be used to process any applicable cancellation or reschedule fees. If you need to adjust your visit, please call us at 360.979.9299 so we can take care of it right away. Phone calls ensure your changes are handled promptly—much more reliable than email or text.

We love seeing you at the spa and giving you the pampering you deserve, but as we move into the colder months, it’s extra important to be mindful of when you may need to reschedule. The guidelines above outline when it’s best to wait.

For massage appointments especially, please cancel or reschedule ahead of time if you’re experiencing any of the concerns listed. We know these appointments are booked far in advance, but notifying us early keeps you safe and helps avoid last-minute changes at check-in.

Hello Dahlia friends and family. It’s my privilege to be able to share with you a few of my thoughts about wellness. I agree with what all of my colleagues have offered: that wellness is a dance, not a destination, that good food, sleep, water, movement and community are all vital aspects of a life well lived. I’d like to share a foundational technique I use that has become essential to my wellbeing: self-compassion. Life is not easy, for anyone, and can feel overwhelming and lonely at times. When I am feeling that way, I have learned to take a breath, get quiet for a moment, connect to the parts of myself that are struggling, and speak to those parts the very words that they are longing to hear. Much the same way you would speak to a child or beloved friend or pet. For example “everything is going to be ok. You’ll get through this. You’re doing the best you can. You’re not in trouble. I’m proud of you. I love you. I’m not going anywhere .” When I can offer myself the very words that I most need to comfort and soothe myself, my shoulders drop, my breathing deepens and my perspective changes. I have used this technique to get through some pretty difficult times, and I hope this sparks something for you.
This kind of self compassion can be easily integrated into your massage session, so please let me know if you’d like to explore this during our time together. It’s an honor to be a part of your lives and I’m so thankful for each of you.
