Many people are finding out that their job’s sedentary nature is having a direct impact on their health and productivity.

Throughout the day, everyone needs to move a lot. Even if you spend a majority of your day sitting, it’s vital you find a way to move around frequently.

Regular movement can not only help you avoid the risks of excessive sedentary behavior (like back pain, obesity, and even heart disease), but it can also boost your productivity, mental focus, and job satisfaction.

Here are some tips how:
1. Drink water.
2. Track your steps.
3. Get your old injuries addressed.
4. Use the building to your advantage (park a little farther away, use the stairs, etc).
5. Do “mini workouts” throughout the day (simple exercises or stretches that can be done in the privacy of your office).
