Team, I hope you are enjoying this sunshine! I wanted to take a minute to update you on the changes to the COVID vaccination rollout. The state has taken over the rollout, so appointments can no longer be scheduled via the sign up genius link that was sent earlier. In order to sign up for the vaccine, go to https://covid19.tn.gov/covid-19-vaccines/ Once on the website, click "vaccines", then click county info, then click on your county. From there, follow the prompts to schedule your appointments. As a reminder, you qualify to receive the vaccine early because you are an essential employee and fall under phase 1a2. Please have this information along with your Caregiver ID Badge ready. Vaccination is not mandatory, but encouraged. Please let us know if/when you receive the vaccine so that we can add you to our list. Many clients/facilities are starting to request Caregivers that have been vaccinated, so this helps us keep track of who is eligible for those shifts. Please co ntinue to wear your masks. We are not over the hump yet and must continue to do our part to keep everyone safe! Feel free to reach out with questions.

IMPORTANT information regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine!
Vaccines are being administered by the Williamson County Health Department at the Williamson County Agricultural Center at 4215 Long Lane in Franklin.
An appointment given by the TN Department of Health is required for a vaccination, and appointments will be limited based on vaccine availability.
The "Williamson County COVID Waitlist" is currently only available to those individuals who meet the Tennessee COVID Vaccination Plan’s current phases in Williamson County: Phase 1a1, 1a2, and individuals 70 years of age or older. Only those who are in these phases or this age group may register for the vaccination at this time.
Individuals currently eligible can enter their information into the sign-up portal to be placed on the waitlist for a vaccine appointment. As soon as vaccines become available, they will receive a notification directly from the Tennessee Department of Health. To place your name on the waitlist, visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/williamson_priority_list.

Touching Hearts at Home received two key awards last week. We received both the Home Care Provider of Choice and the Home Care Employer of Choice awards making us the only Home Care Agency in Middle Tennessee to receive both awards in 2021. This is the second year in a row that Touching Hearts at Home has received these awards. Thank you all for making this possible!
