What does Reiki mean and what is it?

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

I am so grateful for all the frontline workers who are tirelessly caring for all of us as the pandemic continues to grow. While it is stressful for everyone right now, I can't imagine what you and your families are going through. If you are a frontline worker, I would be honored to share Reiki with you in hopes of bringing you some peace and comfort and stress relief. My Offering for Healing in This Time of a World Emergency -
20 Free 20 Minute Distance Reiki Sessions. (please read below)

We all have access to the life force energy, otherwise known as our Chi, Qi or prana, as it flows through each and every living being. Distance Reiki provides just one of many ways to link to and channel this energy for the healing benefit of others. I became a Reiki Master to serve and wanted to help others (and myself) heal.

In light of the world events going on all around us, many people find themselves in a place of illness, a place of fear, a place of panic or all three. So my small offering to help our 2020 world and my facebook community heal is to offer 20 free 20 minute distance reiki healing sessions. This is offered on a first come, first serve basis to the first 20 people who PM me through my Healing Lotus Reiki page. (and it would be nice if you would also like my page - thanks) I will contact you with more information and to set up a time for your distance healing session. May it provide some comfort and peace.
