Upaya Counseling, LLC Upaya Counseling, LLC is a psychotherapy practice in St. Louis, MO. We provide in-person and virtual mental health counseling.

We have several talented providers delivering evidence-based treatments. The construct of "Upaya" translates to "skillful means." At Upaya Counseling, we intentionally assist others, with wisdom and compassion, to find relief from their suffering. We use evidence-based theories and techniques to customize a treatment approach that fits your specific concerns. The same method that "works" in one situation may not be effective in another. We conduct therapy with precision and flexibility and will teach you to apply similar principles in your life, in order to go from being "stuck" to "unstuck."

Upaya Counseling, LLC is excited to announce the addition of our new therapist: Madison Crowell, PLPC!
Madison's areas of expertise are neurodivergent-affirming therapy, ADHD, anxiety, depression, children and adolescents, family therapy, couples therapy, and LGBTQIA+ concerns; she works with clients 5 and older. She is looking to work with a diverse client experience so she would likely be able to help with additional concerns than those listed here with the support of her supervisor, Becky Connor, MA, LPC (MO), LCPC (IL), and the rest of Team Upaya. Madison practices Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, somatic therapy, with feminist and mindfulness techniques. Madison has a private rate of $100 per individual session (sliding scale sometimes offered) and $125 per couples session.
