IBS isn’t random.

Bloating, urgency, constipation, cramping… your body is giving you clues.

Ancient medicine looked at digestion differently. Not just managing symptoms, but understanding the pattern behind them.

Because when you support the root, the gut starts to respond differently.

Vitamin D is more than just a vitamin. It acts like a hormone in the body.

It helps support your immune system, mood, energy, bone strength, muscle function, and overall recovery.

Many people are low in vitamin D and don’t realize it until they start feeling constantly tired, run down, or just not like themselves.

Sunlight is one of the main ways your body makes it, which is why lifestyle plays such a big role.

Sometimes low energy isn’t just stress. Sometimes it’s a deficiency.

Vitamin D2 isn’t talked about enough.

It plays a role in energy, mood, immune support, and how your body manages calcium and bone health.

When levels are low, people often notice fatigue, low motivation, poor recovery, and feeling off without knowing why.

Sunlight matters, but so does understanding what form your body is getting and how well you’re absorbing it.

Sometimes the missing piece is simpler than people think.

Vitamin D deficiency is more common than most people realize.

Low levels are often linked to low energy, mood changes, poor sleep, and a weakened immune response. Many people don’t notice it until it starts affecting how they feel day to day.

Sunlight, lifestyle, and overall health all play a role in maintaining healthy levels.

Your body depends on it more than you think.

Painful periods?

One of my favorite acupressure points to support this is Spleen 6.

It’s commonly used to help with lower abdominal discomfort, support circulation, and bring the body back into a more balanced state during your cycle.

Simple tools like this can make a noticeable difference when used consistently and with awareness.

Our Story

Hi everyone, my name is Dr. Anis Khalaf. I believe that all patients can improve their health through traditional chinese medicine and knowing their elements. My mom was born in Italy and dad Jordan. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. My father is a Chiropractor (first graduating class at Life University), and my mother is an elementary education teacher. I was the kid at school with the organic carrot and hummus sandwich. One time I asked my mom if I could have a “real” lunch that all the other kids were having. She packed what I requested. That was white bread, processed bologna, fake yellow cheese, MSG laden cheesy chips, a high fructose corn syrup pumped sugary drink and a pre diabetic fake fruity dessert. I came home sick and requested to never have a “real” lunch again. That was my first experience regarding the notion that we are what we eat. I moved to Florida for my undergrad degree, and fell in love with the weather and lifestyle so much that I decided to stay. After college I had some bleeding in my stool (thank you college diet), went to the MD and they said that I had some potential precancerous polyps in my colon. The next step was to get a colonoscopy. At twenty-three I knew that there had to be other options. My family referred me to an orthopedic surgeon from China that practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine to see how he could help. Upon my first consultation and before I could say anything he looked at me and said I have a problem with my colon. I was shocked and asked him how he knew that? He said that he saw some redness on my cheeks! After fourteen treatments and prescribing some Traditional Chinese Herbs my bleeding was gone! Then, I was inspired to intern with him. Many famous athletes and celebrities came through his office. Patients with symptoms of some of the most severe conditions were improving. I thought to myself, “Sign me up!” My thought became my action, and I decided to devote my life to Traditional Chinese Medicine! As I write this eBook I currently own my practice Acupuncture Fit in Orlando, FL and am engaged to my beautiful fiance. My passion is the integration of Eastern and Western Medicine. I love to play sports especially soccer and enjoy all types of cuisine. I am a co-host on the 96.5 WDBO FM News Talk Radio show, “Back to Wellness”, am a board member of Young Catholic Professionals, and am a committee member for the Orlando City Soccer Foundation. I’ve been on three mission trips through Food for the Poor, and 10% of our company gross proceeds go to helping the physically, mentally and spiritually poorest of the poor. I have created automated systems for virtual, brick and mortar practices that teach other physicians programs to grow their practice and help patients achieve optimal health. My mission is to help as many people as I can to improve their health through Traditional Chinese Medicine and knowing their elements!
