If you’re experiencing symptoms of mastitis, applying cold packs to the breasts can help 💙

Cold therapy helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain—especially when mastitis is related to milk stasis or engorgement. Use ice or cold packs for short intervals throughout the day, and pair with gentle milk removal that’s comfortable (not aggressive).

✨ You don’t have to “power through” the pain—and you don’t have to figure this out alone. In-home lactation support can make a huge difference when mastitis shows up.

✨ 2025 Year in Review ✨

What a year it’s been! From traveling to 20 cities, driving 7,399 miles, and supporting families through mostly in-home visits, 2025 was all about showing up where support is needed most 🤍

This year also brought meaningful growth—appointments increased by 40% and the number of families supported grew by 25% compared to last year, allowing me to reach and care for even more families.

So grateful for every family who trusted Mama’s Milk Lactation Care this year—whether in person or via telehealth, and for the ability to help so many use their insurance benefits for care.
