A Coffee Date with My Younger Self..

I met my 17-year-old self for coffee today. She laughed at my latte, doubted her future, and wondered if life ever got less messy.

I told her we made it—we became the doctor she didn’t think she was smart enough to be. We left Ohio. We built a life she never imagined.

I reminded her that it gets easier when you stop living in the “what-ifs” and start trusting where you are.
