We are so grateful for all of our patients and their wonderful families. We strive to provide the absolute best orthodontic care in Hendersonville & Brentwood , and nothing makes us happier than seeing those bright, confident smiles.

How are we doing?
We genuinely LOVE hearing from you! Your reviews and feedback are the lifeblood of our practice. They don't just put a smile on our faces—they help other parents who are searching for the best care for their little ones, too.

A perfect appointment might seem simple to us, but for a new parent, reading that "they are so kind through the whole process." might ease their mind.

🛡️ Protecting Your Investment: Is Your Athlete’s Smile Game-Ready? 🏀⚽⚾
It’s officially sports season, and we know our Doyle Ortho families are busy juggling practice schedules and game days! While you’re checking off the list for new cleats and jerseys, don’t forget the most important "insurance policy" for that mid-treatment smile: The Mouthguard.

Think of it as a specialized helmet for those hardworking teeth (and braces!). When you're investing time and effort into the perfect smile, a mouthguard is the simplest way to prevent a sports injury from setting your progress back.

Why Ortho-Safe Guards are a Must:
The Bracket Buffer: It creates a protective layer between your braces and your lips. Trust us, you want to avoid "bracket-to-lip" contact during a collision! 😬

Shock Absorption: It absorbs the "oomph" from a stray ball or an accidental elbow, protecting your teeth, wires, and roots.

Saving Your Smile (and Wallet): Replacing a broken bracket or repairing a chipped tooth is way more stressful than just popping in a guard. 💸

Our Pro Recommendations:
The Gold Standard: We are huge fans of Shock Doctor! They make specific models designed to fit comfortably over braces, allowing for protection without interfering with how your teeth are moving.

🐰Happy Easter!!🐰
🔹Remember, if you are wearing braces - sticky, chewy, hard, or crunchy candy can easily pop a bracket off a tooth! (We typically fix many broken brackets after Easter weekend 😬) Because we are not able to fix a broken bracket right now, please be extra careful! 🍬🍭

🏀 TOURNAMENT UPDATE: BRACKET BUSTED!
We aren’t talking about your bracket, but sometimes your other brackets have other ideas! If you’re a braces-wearer, a "busted bracket" (a loose bracket) is one of the most common hiccups—and like a surprise upset, it doesn’t mean your tournament run is over!

Here is your bracket injury report and how to get back to the final four of your smile:

1. DON'T PANIC! 😌 A loose or "busted" bracket is very common. The wire is still attached to the other teeth, so your tooth isn't going to fall out. It’s NOT an emergency, so you don't need to call us after hours.

2. GET COMFORTABLE 🛡️ If the bracket is floating on the wire and poking your cheek or gum, use a small piece of your orthodontic wax. Roll it into a ball and press it over the bracket or wire to create a smooth surface. It’s like a substitution for your starting lineup.

3. CALL US TO REPAIR 📞 To get your treatment plan back on track for a national championship, please call us during regular office hours. We will find a time to get you scheduled for a quick "injury timeout" to glue that bracket back into place and keep you in the game!

The girls are warming up for the ultimate championship…. Your perfect smile😁🏀

Whether we are tightening wires or checking progress, we are bringing that “Final Four” energy to every appointment this month.

🦷 Is your 7 year-old on track for a healthy smile? ✨
Did you know the American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first evaluation by age 7? It might seem early, but there’s a crucial reason for it!

At Doyle Orthodontics, we call this Phase 1 Treatment. The goal isn’t necessarily immediate braces for everyone, but to spot potential issues while a child’s jaw is still growing and their permanent teeth are starting to come in.

Why is Phase 1 Essential? Here are the Key Benefits:

1️⃣ Guide Jaw Growth: We can address skeletal issues (like underbites or overbites) before they become severe, sometimes avoiding more invasive treatments later.
2️⃣ Optimize Tooth Eruption: Creating space for permanent teeth helps prevent severe crowding and impactions.
3️⃣ Simplify Future Care: For many kids, Phase 1 can reduce the overall complexity and duration of Phase 2 (full braces) in the teenage years.
4️⃣ Prevent Injury: Correcting protruding teeth reduces the risk of dental fractures from sports or play.

Getting an evaluation now gives you peace of mind and allows us to create the best possible long-term care plan.

Ready to see if your child is ready for Phase 1? Call us for a complimentary consultation.

It’s Dental Assistant Week and we truly hit the jackpot. 🦷✨

At Doyle Orthodontics, our assistants are the calm in the chaos, the friendly faces behind every confident smile, and the reason our patients feel right at home. From tightening braces to hyping up nervous kiddos (and parents 😉), they do it all with skill, heart, and a whole lot of patience.

We simply couldn’t do what we do without this incredible team. 💙
