October isn’t just about pumpkins & candy… 🎃 it’s also National Dental Hygiene Month! And if you have braces, keeping your teeth clean is more important than ever. Here are our top tips:

🪥 Brushing with Braces:

Use a soft-bristled or orthodontic toothbrush.

Brush at an angle above and below brackets.

Don’t rush – spend at least 2 minutes brushing every surface.

🧵 Flossing with Braces:

Try floss threaders or orthodontic floss to get between wires.

Consider water flossers for quicker, deeper cleaning.

🍏 Smart Habits:

Rinse after meals to dislodge food.

Limit sticky/sugary snacks – they cling to braces.

Carry a travel brush for on-the-go touch-ups.
