Jeopardy, anyone?! Our residents enjoy monthly Jeopardy with seasonal and general knowledge categories to keep their minds active. Mark, our Dining Services Director, loves to join in and show off his trivia skills!

The Rivers has a close relationship with Brentwood Academy - we love when students volunteer their time to enrich the lives of our residents. Whether it's behind the scenes or hands-on, they're always ready to help!

Residents and staff enjoyed viewing the solar eclipse! We waited for glimpses of the eclipse through breaks in the clouds but it was worth it!

Our residents LOVE when our furry friends visit. Share a picture in the comments of your beautiful fur baby.
Our doors are always open, all dogs are welcome to stop by and enjoy some play time and a treat.

It's all about TRUST!

When I asked Joe and Ann Luther what they loved most about The Rivers, Joe responded "I trust this place!"

The Luther's have lived here for about a year. They moved from their retirement condo "Though we are still independent enough to still thrive there, we like to be ahead of the game. Any day we could need more care so we need to be here before it's too late." Joe said.

Joe and Ann also say they love the food, activities, and housekeeping services. "And whoever folds the laundry overnight is an artist!" Ann said.

Per Harvard Health, folding and refolding laundry can be quite calming for people living with Dementia. One of the things that makes The Rivers unique are our amazing Care Managers who engage one on one with residents during these soothing activities.
