Abby Muse started training with us in the Summer of 2020, just before her freshman year on the women’s basketball team at Boise State University.

She now plays professionally overseas, and just wrapped up her rookie season in Berlin Germany. We asked her to talk about the role strength & conditioning plays in her athletic career and why it’s important for athletes at all levels to treat strength training as a year-round activity.

We’re always so grateful when athletes and their parents trust us with the important job of keeping their bodies strong and resilient. Thanks for sharing this important message with our community, and for showing us some love 💪😍

Registration Now Open: Summer Sports Performance Training

‼️Attention Brentwood Athletes and Parents ‼️
We just opened registration for our 7-week Summer Sports Performance program at Train Smarter And Harder Sports Performance & Adult Fitness in Brentwood (June 8th - July 24th).

We have ~18 spots remaining (accepting 40 athletes total).

This is a highly structured strength & conditioning program for athletes of all sports, ages 11+. Our focus is on teaching athletes how to train properly in the weight room, while following a progressive 7-week training program. They will work on mobility, sprinting mechanics, speed development, upper and lower body power, full-body strength training, and conditioning. All sessions are limited to 8 athletes, with 2 highly-qualified strength & conditioning coaches present.

Coaches:

• Brendon Rearick has 15 years of coaching experience, is a licensed massage therapist, a certified nutrition coach, a S&C industry speaker, and an author.

• Jenny Rearick has 15 years of coaching experience, is a former DI and Hall-of-Fame DIII volleyball athlete, a certified nutrition coach, and a S&C industry speaker.
