✨ 11 Weeks Pregnant — What’s Happening Inside?
At 11 weeks, your baby is no longer called an embryo — they’re officially a fetus! 💛
Here’s what’s going on:
🧠 Brain development is rapid
The brain is forming connections quickly, and the head still makes up about half of the body.
👶 Tiny but mighty
Baby is about the size of a lime 🍋 (around 1.5–2 inches long).
🤍 Heartbeat is strong
The heart has four chambers and is pumping blood throughout the body.
✋ Little movements begin
Baby is starting to kick and stretch — even though you can’t feel it yet!
👁️ Facial features forming
Eyelids are closed, ears are moving into place, and tooth buds are forming under the gums.
🦴 Bones are hardening
Cartilage is slowly turning into bone.
