The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from Monday, June 23 at 12 PM through Tuesday, June 24 at 8 PM.

🌡️ Real Feel Temps: 100–103°F
☀️ Record-breaking heat expected
🌀 Air Quality Alert also in effect — high ozone levels

🚨 Please take precautions:
✅ Stay hydrated
✅ Limit time outdoors
✅ Avoid strenuous activity during peak heat (12–6 PM)
✅ Check on seniors, children & pets
✅ Use air-conditioned spaces or visit a cooling center

📍 Cooling Centers are open across Suffolk County, including:

Southold Town Community Center (8 AM–8 PM)

Riverhead Senior Center (until 4 PM)

Riverhead Free Library

Smithtown beaches/pools with extended hours

🌧️ Relief is expected Wednesday with lower temps and possible thunderstorms.

Trivia Monday was a HIT at Ross Center!
Laughter, teamwork, and some serious brainpower made for a great start to National Nursing Home Week. Shoutout to all the staff who brought their A-game . The energy was real and the love was felt. Let’s keep the celebration going all week long!
