Last week, KidLink team members Kelli McAbee, Sr. Divisional Director of Business Development, and Rebecca Townsend, Military Support Services Account Manager, had the privilege of attending the Black History Month program at Alabama Clinical Schools in Birmingham.
Students performed a powerful play honoring the Greensboro Four and their historic sit-in at the Woolworth cafeteria counter. Their delivery was confident and moving, and the preparation was evident in every detail.
This program, led by Director of Education Armanda Purifoy, reflected the strength of the educational program at Alabama Clinical Schools. Under the leadership of CEO Drayton Holmes, the integration of therapeutic support and academic growth is evident throughout the campus. Clinical care provides stability and safety. Education builds confidence, voice, and opportunity.
At KidLink, our mission is to provide compassionate and timely access to care by connecting children, adolescents, and their families with quality residential treatment programs. Moments like this reflect that mission in action, where students are supported clinically, academically, and socially in environments that foster growth and hope.
