Evan Moore was a top NCAA runner when a swollen lymph node led to a life-changing diagnosis: Hodgkin lymphoma. At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, he enrolled in a clinical trial focused on both survival and long-term health.

Today, he’s cancer-free and back on campus—not to the hospital floor, but to the lab. As a summer intern, he’s studying how the immune system fights infection and helping shape the science that saved his own life.
