Last night I took a class with the ever lovely .seed for this months astrology goings on. And she passed on a thought to us that I’d like to invite you to ponder on.

“Feel what you feel; let tears cleanse, not eclipse you. Let old stories soften your edges. Let yourself dream into the life your higher self would choose. Believe in that vision-just enough for it to grow roots (neuroplasticity)”

Where can you soften? Where can you let yourself dream a little bigger?

If you feel like sharing, leave some answers in the comments, shoot me a message, or just keep it to yourself. It’s not a challenge, simply an invitation to soften the walls we have around us.

Tuning forks + fascia.
I’ve used tuning forks in sessions for a while now, but something clicked for me in a deeper way this week.

I had an aha moment in the woods the other day—one of those quiet nudges that said, go look this up. I wanted to know if anyone had actually explored the relationship between fascia, the lymphatic system, and sound in a structured way.

So I marched myself (and the dogs) out to the magic box
I found exactly one resource.
I bought it immediately.

I read 135 pages on how fascia and lymph respond to vibration, and then—carefully, intentionally—I put my husband on the table for 10 minutes.

He had just come from the gym and was worried his lower back was about to give out again. Out of caution, we kept the session short. Using palpation, we located small fluid pockets in the low back and placed tuning forks there. As we worked, subtle red patterns began to spread, and we followed what the tissue was showing us.

I asked him to stand up and tell me honestly how it felt.

He said it wasn’t 100%—but he didn’t feel the need to go to the chiropractor.
Three days later, he’s still doing well.

We’ll do a longer session this weekend and see how the body responds over time. I’m approaching this with curiosity, respect, and a lot of listening.

If you’re interested in exploring tuning fork work—especially for fascia, lymph, or nervous system support—I’m opening space for practice sessions. I’m looking for a variety of bodies and experiences to learn from.

Reach out if this speaks to you 🖤

We’re quick to name where the body hurts.

Last year, mine struggled—an arch collapse, knee pain, a seized glute, a torn groin.

And still, it carried me.

It didn’t need judgment. It needed patience, attention, and care.

When we only speak of breakdown, we forget how much resilience lives in the body.

This understanding shapes how I work—with respect for what the body is already doing.

This is bodywork as relationship.

I’m a sunrise girly. Always have been.
Quiet roads. Cold air. That first pop of color before the world wakes up.

On January 1, 2026, we pulled up to the parkway, took one look at the crowd of other sunrise people, and said no thank you. Instead, we found a small pull-off on the way down — one I’ve always thought would be perfect.

We stayed in the car at first. The wind was sharp. But when the colors really started to bloom, I had to step out.

The sunrise was perfect.
My hair was unbrushed.
My smile was real.

And if you look closely, you’ll see something else too — trash. Literal trash on the ground. Bottles, cans, the remnants of someone else’s night. I couldn’t safely pick it up or carry it out, but instead of feeling disgusted, it felt… fitting.

2025 was a year of clearing clutter. Physically, emotionally, energetically. How many times can you purge a house and move in a single year? But the most important trash I left behind wasn’t stuff — it was the mental noise, the outdated stories, the weight that kept me from seeing beauty clearly.

Letting that go made space.
Space to notice the light.
Space to stay tender while still fighting for a world that works for all people.

So this is your invitation:
Leave some trash on the table.
Set down what doesn’t belong to you anymore.
Walk into this year with a little less clutter in your body and a little more room to breathe.

The sun will meet you there. 🌅✨
And if you’re craving less clutter and more clarity, you’re my people.

2025.
Year of the Snake.

The year that, I thought, was meant to be mine.
And in many ways, it was.
It just wasn’t easy.

This season is loud with new year, new me energy and reminders not to burn out. I’m not here for any of that. I’m here to say: we made it.

2025 was polarizing—inside and out. There were distractions, grief, exhaustion, and moments it felt easier to let go than to keep going. But if you’re here reading this, then we didn’t disappear. We stayed. And that matters.

This year showed me how resilient we actually are.

I’ve moved through a lot personally, and I’ve been deeply honored to witness what so many of you have been carrying. Thank you for trusting me with your stories, even in small, unplanned moments. I’ve been held by community more than I can say, and I hope to return that care many times over.

I believe the skin we shed this year is making room for something beautiful. I’m stepping into 2026 with clear eyes—no illusions that it will be easy, but a renewed commitment to stop bargaining with my own excuses. I’m getting crystal clear on what I want and how I show up for it.

I’m excited to see where this work lands—in my relationships, in my practice, and in how I serve. In the coming months, I’ll be offering goal-setting sessions to help us get clear, stay supported, and move toward the lives we’re actually trying to build.

Here’s to shedding, grounding, and becoming.

Thank you so much to each and everyone of you for showing up as you are everyday. 🖤

Wellness… or wholeness?

It’s a gentle question.
Especially right now, as many of us are moving more carefully with our time, energy, and money.

Wellness is a big word. A beautiful one.
It’s also become an enormous industry—full of offerings, promises, and things to buy in the name of feeling better.

But when I ask about wellness versus wholeness, this is what I mean:

Wholeness isn’t something you purchase.
It’s something you slowly return to.

Most of the people who come to my table aren’t looking for perfection or trends. They’re longing to move with less pain, pick up their grandkids, recover with more ease, delay surgery, or simply feel back inside their own body again.

Many of us learned to hover just outside ourselves as a form of protection. There’s no shame in that. But healing often begins when we gently come home.

That’s why, after most sessions, I share free resources—to help the work keep unfolding. When you use them, the effects don’t fade. They deepen, layer, and support a fuller way of living.

If this speaks to you, you’re welcome to message me or book with me at Elements Wellness Spa in Brevard, NC.

Thank you for trusting me, for showing up, and for walking this path with me 🤍

Hello friends! I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to every single one of you who gets on my table, follows my content, or sends someone my way. I literally couldn’t do this work without you. This path has brought me so many beautiful experiences, friendships, and moments of deep connection — I feel honored every time I get to work with you.

I also want to share a little bit about my name change.
I’m still working at Elements Wellness Spa in Brevard — no changes there!
I simply wanted my page to better reflect the kind of work I’m passionate about and to create a space where I can start sharing regularly — tips, education, and any offers happening at the spa.

As many of you know, I take a lot of classes. Clients always ask, “What are you learning now?” And honestly…fair question. Each class has added something beautiful to my practice, but there has always been a bigger question under it all: How do all these modalities come together? What’s the thread?

That’s where Niazai work entered my life. (I promise I’ll explain this modality soon.)
Niazai helped me understand the way I naturally track the body — emotionally, energetically, physically — and how the “map” of a person unfolds during a session.

So that’s how the new name was born.

Mapped Bodywork reflects the way we follow the body’s story — the feelings, old injuries, patterns, and holding that show up and ask to be released. Sometimes the work is silent. Sometimes it brings tears. Often it brings laughter. Sometimes your left shoulder hurts, yet we find ourselves working on your right hip — and you trust the process — and somehow your shoulder feels better.

That’s the mapping.

This work isn’t always easy. Sometimes your brain spirals or unearths things you thought you had moved on from. But for clients who allow the magic, the wandering, and the release… the results are powerful. Whether we have one session or ten, I deeply appreciate the trust you place in me.

Thank you for being here as this next layer unfolds.
I’m excited to share more with you — and excited for this new chapter as Mapped Bodywork. 💛

Hey friends! I wrestled this week with even posting this, but I ultimately decided that I should share it. With all that is going on in the world I struggle to see a way to help after I get home from work. Sometimes it is just a heavy day, or existence, however I’m so grateful I am in this line of works #. With all that is going on in the world I have decided to take 50% of my cash and venmo tips for the month of November (that’s all I can commit to at this moment) and donate it to our local pantry that houses and truly takes care of our community.

Why just cash and Venmo? Honestly because my ADHD self is terrible at looking at the details of my check, those are money sources that are more tangible for my brain.

Thank you all for doing your part for your community and thank you for keeping me in the massage world. I truly have the best clients.
