Understanding Avoidant Personality Disorder 🔎

Avoidant Personality Disorder (AvPD) can make it feel nearly impossible to connect (even when you want to.) It’s more than shyness or introversion; it’s a deep fear of rejection and criticism that can lead to isolation, low self-esteem, and anxiety in relationships or social settings.

At Skyterra Young Adult, we help guests move beyond avoidance by building safety, trust, and self-compassion first.

Through therapy, mindfulness, and experiential activities, our team helps individuals develop healthier ways to cope, communicate, and connect, all within a supportive, nonjudgmental community.

Healing from avoidance starts with small, brave steps. Your young adult doesn't have to face them alone.
