"One of my favorite things to do is stand in flowing river water with waders on while fly fishing. I’ve caught trout in Colorado, New Mexico, and Montana—my proudest being a native cutthroat in Estes Park. I am a bit of a fishing snob—I only go after the wildest and most legendary fish… like the massive brown trout pictured with me here. Since moving to North Carolina, I’ve joined a women’s fly fishing group, keep honey bees and forage chanterelles on my land, and join yoga classes. My goal is to grow and gather as much of my own food as possible—with a side of wild adventure.

My work along Colorado’s Front Range focused on home health physical therapy, where I had the privilege of treating patients in their homes—many recovering from falls on ice and snow! I found it deeply rewarding to support their healing in such a personal setting. Here at Elevate, I’ve enjoyed getting to know members of my new community around Brevard, helping them build strength, stability, and confidence as they return to full, active lives".
