Our outing to Lake Julian today was a resounding success, with the warm sunshine, boats, and ducks combining to create a rejuvenating atmosphere perfect for a picnic gathering. The refreshing boat ride and subsequent picnic were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

As you know, Cedar Mountain House has recently faced the challenges of wildfires in Western North Carolina and responded in an incredibly thoughtful and effective way. Cedar Mountain has shared their story in a press release, detailing their efforts.

The residents of Cedar Mountain House were safely evacuated in order to keep them safe from the NC Wildfires in March of 2025.

UPDATE ON CEDAR MOUNTAIN HOUSE

We’ve got some fantastic news! 🌟 ALL residents have been safely transported back to Cedar Mountain. After receiving the all-clear today, everyone is now securely home. 🏡

A huge thank you to everyone involved: first responders, fire departments, support center, staff, families, and especially the Stonecroft team members for their care, compassion, and hard work during these challenging times.
