Earlier this summer, Three Rivers Hospital appeared on a list of hospitals flagged as “at risk” due to federal Medicaid funding cuts. This list has been widely shared and has understandably caused concern.

We want to be clear: Three Rivers Hospital is not closing.
We are confident in our ability to adapt to these changes and continue providing vital local healthcare for our communities well into the future.

At the same time, we’re actively advocating for rural health care. Next week, members of our Board and Administration will travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with legislators about protecting funding for hospitals like ours.

👩‍⚕️✏️ Our team had a great time at the Mansfield School District’s back-to-school event last night! We handed out swag, shared health education, and talked with parents about an exciting new collaboration: virtual primary care visits for Mansfield students and staff.

Since Mansfield is about 40 minutes from our clinic in Brewster, this partnership makes it easier to get medical care quickly, without the long drive. We appreciate the school district for working with us to offer this service!
