Today is Danny's birthday! Help us wish him a happy one.🎁🎈🎂

When he was 15 years old Danny went to work for Medical Center Pharmacy. The manager hired him to make deliveries not knowing that Danny didn’t have a driver’s license. When he found out, he hired James Riggs to deliver and put Danny to work in the Pharmacy. He must have liked it. “Medical Center Pharmacy is the only place I have ever worked and drawn a paycheck.”
Danny graduated from T. R. Miller High School in 1974 and then went on to earn his degree from the Auburn Pharmacy School. While at Auburn he came home every weekend and worked at the pharmacy.
In 1984 at the age of 27 Danny bought the store. “I started out mopping floors and taking out garbage, worked my way up to manager then I bought the store and now I’m back to taking out the garbage and mopping floors.”
“What I like best about my job is helping people. I really enjoy spending time with pharmacy students who think they want to be independent pharmacists. It’s an opportunity to talk with them about the business and provide direction and guidance.”
Danny married his high school sweetheart, Karen. They have one son, Tim, and daughter-in-law, Julie. They are grandparents to Hannah, Libby and Jack.
