Hi, I’m Natalie Jackson, the owner and occupational therapist behind Skill Builders OT Services! ✏️

I opened a pediatric occupational therapy clinic with one goal in mind — to help children build the confidence and skills they need to grow, play, and thrive independently throughout life. My approach focuses on forming meaningful connections with each child and family, creating individualized plans of care that support their unique strengths and challenges.

I’ve been a pediatric OT since 2015 and have worked with children of all ages and abilities. I’m especially passionate about early intervention, emotional and sensory regulation, and helping children discover the joy of learning through play.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me outside with my two boys, enjoying nature, creating healthy habits for our family, and finding activities that keep me grounded and inspired.

At Skill Builders OT Services, my mission is simple: to provide quality, compassionate therapy that helps every child reach their fullest potential.

🌿 Exciting Update! 🌿
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve completed my Children’s Yoga Teacher Certification! 🧘‍♀️✨

Yoga and occupational therapy pair beautifully — both support children in developing body awareness, self-regulation, strength, balance, and focus. Through this training, I’ve deepened my understanding of how yoga-based movement, breath work, and mindfulness can be adapted to meet each child’s developmental and sensory needs.

Incorporating yoga into pediatric OT sessions can help:
💫 Improve core strength and postural control
💫 Support sensory regulation and calming strategies
💫 Build focus, attention, and self-awareness
💫 Develop coordination and motor planning
💫 Foster confidence and a positive body connection

I’m excited to bring this new knowledge into my therapy sessions and share yoga-inspired tools to help children grow, regulate, and move with joy!

We’re so excited to have these communication bracelets available for our clients this Halloween! Each bracelet includes visual supports with simple phrases like “stop,” “go,” “wait,” “trick or treat,” and “thank you” — making it easier for all children to participate and communicate confidently while trick-or-treating. 💬🍬
