General information
Owner and operator, John A. Cutaio began his committment to Ocean and Monmouth County families in 1966, when he built Colonial Funeral Home located on Route 88 and in 1983 opened a second Colonial Funeral Home on Sally Ike Road both in Brick Township. He went on to expand in 1988 when he took ownership of Weatherhead Young Funeral Home on Mantoloking Road in Brick. In 1999 he acquired Laurelton Memorial Funeral Home on Pier Avenue in Brick and shortly after in 2001 he became the owner of Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach. Along with his wife, Virginia Cutaio and three daughters, Laurin Cutaio-Faas, Virginia Cutaio-Hnatt and Andrea Cutaio-Pistolakis ,the Cutaio Family operates all five facilities in the Northern Ocean County area. Each facility unique, but all of them embody the Cutaio family tradition of providing you and your loved ones with the full personal attention, understanding, and compassion necessary during this difficult time. As a family owned and operated establishment, services and recommendations have a main focus of providing you and your family the full personal attention, understanding, and empathy necessary during your time of loss. Personally and professionally, the Cutaio family has had an integral part of our community. Because of this, the Cutaio family have come to care deeply about the community they serve.
