Our Story

As a mother trained in the nutrition field, finding healthy snacks and treats had always been a challenge. Especially when on the go. I found myself often having to choose between products that were crafted with healthy organic ingredients, and products that were plant-based or vegan. Furthermore, finding organic vegan products that were also gluten-free was nearly impossible! The struggle motivated me to start making healthy, nutrient-dense snacks and desserts in our home.

I’ve always been passionate about health and nutrition, but that passion intensified when my son started displaying the early signs of a neurological condition. He suffered from motor and vocal tics, and was eventually diagnosed with mild Tourette’s syndrome as well as ADHD. Several years (and specialists) later, those diagnosis were combined with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The ASD diagnosis inspired me to research diets specifically geared toward spectrum kids, and find the best foods to eat, and to avoid. Finding products that met this criteria outside of our home was indeed a challenge, one that would inspire me to start creating E.Bee’s Organics. If it was this difficult for me, a budding holistic nutritionist, to find products to promote ASD kids wellness, it would be impossible for the everyday busy working mom to find them! We soon cut out the trifecta of inflammatory foods, notoriously difficult for spectrum kids to digest. Specifically wheat (gluten) dairy (casein) and soy.

After eliminating gluten, soy, dairy (and previously processed foods), many of Gabriel’s symptoms disappeared. He no longer suffered from uncontrollable vocal and motor tics. His eczema, headaches and debilitating stomach pains were gone! This was proof to me, that REAL FOOD HEALS.

After testing for mutations and deficiencies, we went on to add a few brain boosting supplements as well as a solid probiotic. About three months after their addition, we saw major changes in his emotional regulation and growth, as well as a drastic reduction in impulsivity! This gave me hope! Not only for him, but for many other children out there struggling with debilitating symptoms.
