Hello and welcome to day 3 of
👣 WORLD REFLEXOLOGY WEEK👣
Today we will talk about who can benefit from a reflexology session.
When my 5th grandbaby was born, I began doing baby reflexology on his feet the day he came home from the hospital.
It wasn't easy the first few times. His little tootsies didn't like the strange sensation of being lightly rubbed. But I stuck with it, rubbing in circular motions motions for just a few minutes on each foot, while he lay in my lap.
Now, my daughter and each of her older 4 kids had colic as 2-3month olds, so it stood to reason that this little one would, too. Guess what? He had 2 occasions in which he got pretty fussy with intestinal discomfort, but my daughter was able to soothe him fairly quickly.
Early in my reflexology business journey, I had a client who suffered from diabetic neuropathy. His job was in HVAC for an airport. He was outside most of the day, pounding the concrete and climbing ladders to work on rooftop A/C systems. The resulting neuropathy made it difficult for him to sleep well. He decided to try weekly sessions to see how that worked for him. After a few weeks, it occurred to me that I'd neglected to ask about the pins-n-needles sensation in his lower legs and feet.
"Don’t have it anymore," he replied.
That is fantastic! When did it stop?
"After the first time you worked my feet".
Several months later, he reported that he had been able to drop one of his shots for diabetes and had lost just under 20lbs. Nothing in his daily routine, diet or level of exercise had changed; just the addition of regular reflexology sessions.
I've had the honor of doing reflexology for several young women during their pregnancies. The benefits they reported were less nausea/morning sickness symptoms, reduced swelling of lower legs and feet, headache and lower back pain relief, shorter labor and faster healing.
Reflexology is beneficial for babies, Seniors and everyone in-between. Why not book a session and experience for yourself what Reflexology can do?

Grace and peace, friends
