We were proud to welcome service providers from across the country to our headquarters in Bridgeport, MI for the 2025 Amigo Service Conference.

These are the people who keep Amigo products running smoothly. Getting to meet up face-to-face, share ideas, and learn together reminded us just how strong the Amigo family really is.

From hands-on product sessions to some good laughs and great conversations, it was a successful day!

When Susan Schulz was just 5 years old, she developed polio. At 12, she had surgery to fuse her left ankle, and she used braces and crutches to help with her mobility. By the time she was in high school, Susan was walking without any mobility aids at all.

It wasn’t until years later, after getting married and having children, that post-polio syndrome began to impact her mobility again. When Susan got her first Amigo (a red, white, and blue model!), she only had use of one leg. But that never stopped her from living life to the fullest.

Yesterday, we welcomed Central Michigan University's entrepreneurial business class to Amigo! President Jordan Thieme gave students a tour of our facility to show them what it takes to run a business and, of course, how Amigos are made. It was great to connect and share what we do with future business leaders.

Check this out! One of our customers stopped by earlier this month with his “Herbie” Amigo HD. In 2022, we custom-painted it, and the decals were made by a graphics company in Frankenmuth. It still looks just as good three years later! 😎

We're at Saginaw Valley State University today for the MiCareerQuest Middle Michigan event, sharing how we improve lives through mobility!

We've been talking to high school sophomores about what goes into making an Amigo, from manufacturing to assembly, to sales and customer service. We do that (and so much more!) right here in Bridgeport, Michigan.
