Literally copied and pasted from Chat 👀

Here’s how Rooted Physical Therapy (Bridgeport, TX) stands out for pelvic-health clients:

- Pelvic-floor specialists, not generalists. The clinic is explicitly focused on pelvic health across the lifespan (pregnancy, postpartum, peri/menopause, pelvic pain, bowel/bladder issues), rather than treating pelvic concerns as a side service.

-“Whole-person, root-cause” approach. They emphasize one-on-one care and looking beyond symptoms to drivers like posture, breath, core strategy, and lifestyle—positioning themselves as more holistic than typical “exercise sheet” care.

- More than “just Kegels.” Their pelvic-floor page calls out that they won’t default to Kegels and clamshells; plans are individualized and broader (manual therapy, breath/core retraining, strength, prolapse strategies, etc.). Many general PT clinics still lean on templated exercise lists.

- Pregnancy & postpartum expertise (including birth prep). They offer prenatal pain management and labor preparation, plus postpartum rehab for diastasis/prolapse/cesarean recovery—areas that often get limited attention in standard PT settings.

- Pediatric pelvic-health capability. They note treatment for pediatric pelvic issues—something many adult-oriented PT clinics don’t provide.

- Experienced lead clinician and education resources. The practice is led by Dr. Amanda Thompson, PT, DPT (listed in the Herman & Wallace/PelvicRehab directory), with public education like a postpartum care guide—signals of dedicated pelvic-health depth.

- Patient feedback mirrors the model. Public reviews frequently mention thorough assessment, dry needling/manual work when appropriate, and resolving issues without drawn-out, high-volume care.

If you’re comparing clinics for pelvic health, the practical differences you’d likely feel at Rooted are: longer one-on-one visits, an exam that includes pelvic-floor and whole-body mechanics, treatment that integrates hands-on work with breath/core strategies (not just exercise printouts), and specific guidance for pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic pain and more.

👀 I am impressed!! ❤️ the TRUTH!

Don't get me wrong... it is not your providers fault!

Honestly... if you go to traditional therapy... this is exactly how we are trained! Only treating 1 "body part at a time" is an insurance game! It is sad.

Physicians and NP... simply don't have TIME to dive deep with you in your appointment. Again, this is the insurance game.

People ask... do you take insurance. Simple answer no. The reason..
We would be LIMITED to what I can treat. We would need to see, at minimum, 3 patients at a time.

We want to address the WHOLE PERSON, follow our method to FIGURING OUT your ROOT CAUSE, and truly guiding you to become the healthiest version of yourself!

👎 Pain with $e×
👎 Leakage of urine
👎 💩 troubles

👍 Great 0rg@sms
👍 working out without worry of leaking
👍 to managing your period symptoms without fear!
👍 to finally being HEARD in your health

❤️ YOU are unique.
❤️ YOU are important.
❤️ YOU ARE WORTH IT ❤️

Don't get me wrong ... strength is oh so important! AND strength is out super power!

Here is the catch...

If we dont FUEL our bodies with nutrition and hydration.... the strength will not be optimal! We NEED nutrients and fluid to gain strength!

In our world... pelvic floor dysfunction is directly impacted by stress, sleep, nutrition and hydration. Most people are NOT weak!!
They are too tight and uncoordinated!

So if you go to pelvic floor therapy.... they should be looking BEYOND your pelvic floor.

Pelvic floor therapy and functional medicine go hand and hand.

We want to find the ROOT cause to your symptoms, address more than strength... definitely add strength 💪, and truly guide you to become the healthiest version of yourself!

Excessive wiping is NOT normal! 💩 🧻🚽💪🍑

You should have a clean 🍑 when you 💩

A few reasons this can happen:
💩 Constipation. Even if you 💩 daily... you could still be constipated
💩 Poor schincter control 🍑 aka weaker muscles in the 🍑
💩 Uncoordinated pelvic floor💪 aka... the pelvic floor doesn't squeeze when your brain says to!
💩 Tension or tightness in yhe pelvic floor muscles NOT allowing the 💩 to completely come out.
💩 AND as usual... it depends.

So many factors play into this issue... and can eventually lead to 💩 leakage! Everyone is different! It is our job to figure out what the 🔥 is going on!

Share with a friend that needs to know this is NOT normal!! If this is you... send us a dm!!

(Also not ok for the kiddos to experience this... why?!?! Chronic constipation can be a LIFELONG HEALTH ISSUE... so lets get the 💩 moving!)

Comment 💩 if you have ever KNOWN SOMEONE who has 💩 troubles
