This is a constant issue for providers. Everything from surgery to therapy can be denied by your insurance company or Medicaid retroactively (after the service has been provided) even if they initially approved it. Make that make sense.

Funny but very true. Even after a clinic obtains a prior authorization, and your child is seen for services, your insurance can retroactively deny the claims and not cover the "authorized" services.
