Haven of Bridgeport is sending a HUGE congratulations to the Parkview 8th Grade Lady Braves basketball team! 🏀🎉 They are officially the 2025 IESA 8th Grade 3A Sectional Champions! 🏆

They’re now headed to STATE — 1st Round Game: Dec. 13th at 11:30 AM @ Germantown Hills Middle School.

Please join us in wishing them the best of luck as they take the court! We’re all cheering you on, Lady Braves! 🙌

Resident Testimonial – Billy R.

When Billy R. came to Haven of Bridgeport for rehabilitation, he wasn’t a stranger to our facility. Having been here before, he knew firsthand about the excellent care and therapy our team provides.

“I came in very sick and could hardly move,” Billy shared. “It was tough at first, but my goal was to be able to walk again and not be in a wheelchair.”

With the help and encouragement of our physical and occupational therapy departments, Billy worked hard each day toward that goal. “The therapists were great,” he said. “They really pushed me to reach my goals and encouraged me every step of the way.”

One of Billy’s favorite memories was during therapy: “I was working on walking up the steps while listening to music, and when I reached the top—I did a little dance!”

Today, Billy is walking better, feeling stronger, and more confident than ever. “I’m happier, more confident in my ability to walk, and I’m not sick anymore,” he said with a smile. “I’ve gained so much confidence, and I’d definitely recommend Haven of Bridgeport because the therapy department is great!”

To our team, Billy added, “Great job—and thank you for helping me reach my goals.”
