Shoutout to Maddi, a dedicated sophomore athlete from South Harrison High School, who is working hard in physical therapy as she recovers from a previous sports injury.

Her treatment plan focuses on building stability and improving functional movement so she can return to her sport safely and confidently.

Some tools you’ll see in her sessions:
💡 BlazePods — improve coordination, speed, & reaction
🫙 Cupping — reduces tightness & boosts blood flow
🎗 RockTape basket weave — To improve tissue mobility.

Great job, Maddi! Keep working hard — your progress is showing! 🔥

➡️ Athletes: if you’re dealing with a sports injury or need help getting stronger and more stable, Bridgeport PT has your back.
Let us help you recover confidently and get back in the game. 💪

Congratulations to our very own Jessica Hall, PTA, and her husband Ronnie on officially opening Kings Hands Boxing Club in Stonewood! 🎉🥊

Jessica is an incredible PTA on our team and plays a big role in treating patients with Parkinson’s disease, often using boxing-inspired therapy to help improve strength, mobility, and confidence!

Now, she and Ronnie are bringing the benefits of boxing to the community — providing mentorship, building confidence, and offering a safe, structured environment for youth and young adults.

We are so proud to call you part of the Bridgeport PT family!

⭐️ Meet Taylor Knapp, MOTR/L!!

We’re so excited to introduce one of the newest members of our Bridgeport Physical Therapy team — Taylor Knapp, Occupational Therapist at our Main Street location!

Taylor brings compassion, skill, and a true passion for helping patients regain independence in the activities that matter most. Here’s a little more about her 👇

💬 What inspired you to become an Occupational Therapist?

“When I was in middle school, I broke my arm and went through five surgeries to regain function. During that time, I spent a lot of time in OT, and I knew I wanted to help people in the same way when I grew up.”

💬 How long have you been practicing, and when did you join our team?

“I’ve been practicing for 4.5 years, and I joined the Bridgeport PT family in September after moving to the area.”

💬 What areas of OT are you most passionate about?

“Upper extremity rehab is where my heart is! My goal is to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) whenever I can.”

💬 What advice do you give patients to stay motivated?

“Progress is not linear. There will be good days and bad days, but if you stick to the plan, we’ll get you closer to your goals.”

💬 How do you personalize treatment plans?

“OT is all about making treatments meaningful and functional. I tailor activities to simulate the tasks that matter most to each individual patient.”

💬 Where did you grow up or go to school?

“I grew up in Wirt County and earned my MOT degree from WVU.”

💬 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“My biggest blessing is spending time with my 5-month-old son, Jace, and my husband, Tristan. I love cooking and baking, riding my bike on the rail trail, and I’m also a cheer coach!”

💬 Favorite local restaurant?

“Apple Annie’s!”

💬 Fun fact that might surprise patients:

“I love to hunt! I spend the whole week of Thanksgiving in the woods with my dad and nephew.”

💬 Do you have any pets?

“Yes! I have an Australian Shepherd named Zuko.”

We are so proud to have Taylor on our team — her dedication, warmth, and passion for helping others fit perfectly with our mission of Changing Rehab, Changing Lives. ❤️🖤

Before heading out West for his big hunting trip, Gregg Goff came to Bridgeport PT with one goal — to get his knee ready for the mountains. 🏔️

After a few focused sessions with Sarah and Jack, Greg was feeling strong, steady, and pain-free just in time for his trip. Looks like the hard work paid off — what a successful hunt! 💪🦌
