Health House Assistant (for undergrad or accelerated pre-licensure students):
Are you a nursing, PA, EMT or health sciences student interested in spending your summer as a camp nurse assistant on a lake in Vermont? The Aloha Foundation is looking to hire nursing assistants to work in our three residential camps. This is a 9-week commitment from mid-June to mid-August living at camp with a comprehensive training and competitive salary (lakeside room and board included). This is an ideal opportunity for a health sciences student (nursing, PA, pre-med) looking to gain experience working in pediatrics, while enjoying a beautiful summer with an amazing, supportive community. The ideal candidate would be a rising senior or new grad with clinical experience; rising juniors will be considered based on clinical experience. Although you will have a lot of clinical oversight in this position, it will require a fair amount of independence and you will have a lot of autonomy. You can think of this position as equivalent or more than the typical nursing school clinical rotation. Click here to read the full job description and to apply! Please contact Gretchen_Cyros@alohafoundation.org with any questions.
