I want each and every member of the Cumberland Rehab and Nursing Home to know that as a teacher, I felt as we were the most underappreciated people on Earth. Most of us have 2 jobs because of the pay. We see and deal with things way beyond the classroom with those kiddos, and still a teacher is always the blame for any and everything that goes wrong.... however,
spending time up on the 'hill visiting my Papa, Jake Carlton, has truly opened my eyes. The people who work there are truly those who are called by God. From the cleaning staff, cooking staff, all the way up to the highest staff members there, u are the unsung heroes. The genuine care, compassion, and love you have for your residents and their family is outstanding! Your humor and kindness in someone's worst hour is beautiful, and nothing about it is fake. I have been truly blessed to meet so many kind people. it has given me hope that there is still good in world!!
Thank you for everything you do, hands down, u are the most gifted people I've met. Your caring words and gentle hands and big hearts will NEVER go unforgotten. I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas 🎄, and you all are my heroes ❤️ FOREVER
