Medications, overweight, difficulties doing basic things like stairs or walking distances.

Do something for your kids, show them a healthy active lifestyle that will actually benefit them in the future. Set them up for success not failure.

If you want to make your body change then you need to disrupt homeostasis.

In other words do things that challenge your body to make it adapt to the change.

If your workouts are easy and your nutrition isn't where it needs to be then the change your wanting isn't going to happen.
