Chartiers Center is a center of excellence in the delivery of innovative IDD and behavioral health services in a multi county area. Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake and referrals, psychiatric assessment, outpatient and substance use outpatient treatment, service coordination, social rehabilitation, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community participation for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless street outreach and a range of residential programs for those with a behavioral health diagnosis.

Our Story

Chartiers’ primary focus is the integration of physical health and mental health wellness to enhance the quality of life for all people with behavioral or intellectual/ and developmental disabilities. To better serve the consumer with co-occurring disorders (COD), Chartiers provides outpatient treatment for alcohol and other drugs. Chartiers operates programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Within each program, individualized plans are designed to meet the needs and interests of the individual as they work to attain their greatest level of independence. Chartiers also works with the chronically homeless and those at risk of losing their home. Multiple programs are available call 412 221-3302 for more information.
