The Horse symbolizes strength, energy, perseverance, and forward momentum, representing a year of hard work, positivity, and good fortune. Our Residents went back to the Roaring 20s for a lively Speakeasy-themed celebration! Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great conversation as the room came alive with vintage charm. The nostalgic atmosphere sparked stories, smiles, and plenty of fun as everyone gathered together to take in the theme and enjoy each other’s company. It was a wonderful event full of energy, connection, and a little trip back in time that everyone truly enjoyed. 🥂

On Ash Wednesday, Father Jeff joined our community to administer ashes to our residents, marking the beginning of the Lenten season. This sacred service invited a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal, reminding us to turn our hearts toward God as we prepare for Easter. Our residents were deeply blessed by this meaningful observance.

This Valentine’s Day, we held a Candy Gram fundraiser benefiting Alzheimer’s New Jersey. Each Candy Gram included a card along with a choice of chocolate or a stuffed plushie. Candy Grams were distributed to residents and staff who participated, helping support a meaningful cause while spreading a bit of Valentine’s cheer throughout the facility. Happy Valentine’s day! 💌💘

To celebrate Groundhog Day, we treated our employees to a fresh and festive salad bar. It was a fun way to brighten the season, enjoy good food, and share a smile; especially with the prediction of six more weeks of winter ahead! 🦫❄️

At Bridgeway, we believe in caring for one another—especially in moments when life asks the most of us.

Gabby one of our dedicated nurses, who is also a mother, a veteran, and the head of her household, recently experienced a devastating house fire while she was at work caring for others. Instantly she has lost her home, her belongings, and tragically, her beloved dog, Meghara. Thankfully, her children are physically safe, though the emotional impact of this loss has been profound on her whole family.

Gabby has spent her career showing up with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to others. Now, it is our turn to show up for her and her children.

With Gabby’s permission, we are sharing a GoFundMe created by her friend to help offer support during this very difficult time.

The funds raised will help cover immediate needs such as temporary housing, basic living expenses, clothing, and essential household items as she begins the difficult journey of rebuilding.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Spinning Wheel Diner! From classic comfort food to sweet treats, everyone loved the delicious meals and cozy atmosphere. There were lots of smiles, great conversations, and full bellies. We can’t wait for our next adventure together! 🚌
