Our FREE Virtual Accessibility Training Series is back for 2026! This four-part training series is open to anyone learning to create digital content that is accessible, supportive, and effective for all audiences. Participants will explore the fundamentals of digital accessibility and discover practical strategies for websites, documents, and digital marketing. They will gain skills and tools to make content usable, readable, and welcoming for people of all abilities. Harvard University Digital Accessibility Services and Pedal Point Solutions will lead the presentations. This series is free and open to all, held on the second Thursday of the month, April 9, May 14, June 11, and September 10, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. For questions, please reach out to Sarah Parker at sparker@eastersealsma.org.

This past weekend, members of our Board of Directors, Regional Boards, and Easterseals Massachusetts Staff gathered at The Bridge Center for a day dedicated to collaboration, vision, and the future of our organization at our annual Board Retreat.

From deep dives into our multi-year Strategic Plan to shared meals and brainstorming sessions, the energy in the room was electric. Being together at The Bridge Center was a powerful reminder that at the heart of our work is a commitment to the people we serve and the connections that bring us all together.

Good news! 🎉 We added a full-day option for April Vacation Week Nature Explorer & Gardening Camp. Spots are still available for the half-day option.

🌿Campers of all abilities, ages 4-18, engage in hands-on nature exploration, creative projects, movement-based activities, and outdoor play in an environment centered on access, choice, and meaningful participation. All activities are led by licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, creating a fun and enriching experience.

🐴 Equestrian lovers, ages 4 through adult, can join us mornings for Equine Enrichment Camp. These sessions offer hands‑on time with our animals while building confidence, connection, and joy. Ages 4-18 can pair this with our afternoon half-day Nature Explorer & Gardening Camp!

Get your hands dirty and your taste buds happy in our new seasonal recreation program, Farm to Table: Cooking & Gardening Class! In this hands-on, in‑person experience, participants will plant herbs or veggies from seed, tend a micro garden, and create delicious snacks using seasonal, local ingredients—some grown right in class.

✨ Plus, get creative by decorating your own apron for kitchen time!
🧤 Bring your own gardening gloves or borrow ours.

For Valentine's Day, we recruited our board members and a group of children from the Roosevelt School in Worcester. Together, they created special cards that were delivered to the children and staff at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children. These cards brought a smile to their faces and showed them how much they are loved and appreciated. 💌

We are looking for dedicated members of our community to join one of ESMA’s Regional Boards!

As a Regional Board Member of Easterseals Massachusetts, you are joining a great group of dedicated individuals who perform a variety of duties to raise awareness, advocate, fundraise, and support clients of Easterseals Massachusetts. There are both in-person and virtual opportunities to use your personal skills to support the ESMA mission to provide services to ensure children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play.

Responsibilities Include:
- Understand the organization’s mission, programs, and policies, and inform others about ESMA.
- Help to enhance ESMA's public profile and network within Massachusetts communities and the business areas.
- Attend and participate in Regional Board meetings via Microsoft Teams on the second Monday of the month, from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Support the organization financially by donating or helping with fundraising activities.
- Serve on at least one subcommittee and attend meetings.
- Aide in making connections between the organization and your personal network to promote and grow ESMA programs in Massachusetts.
-Actively recruit new board members.
