This Giving Day, we are highlighting the vital employment‑focused services that Easterseals Massachusetts provides to individuals with disabilities across the state. Through our Job Development & Placement Services, skilled employment specialists deliver personalized training and ongoing support that help participants strengthen their abilities and achieve meaningful, competitive employment. 🌟 Registration is Now Open for April & June Vacation Camp Fun! 🌟

We are gearing up for exciting vacation camp sessions this spring and summer, April 21–24 and June 23–26, and look forward to welcoming new and returning campers!

🐴 Morning: Equine Enrichment Camp
For ages 4 through adult, our morning sessions offer hands‑on time with our animals while building confidence, connection, and joy.

🎨 Afternoon: Creative + Movement‑Based Camps
Afternoon sessions for ages 4–18 feature engaging themes designed to spark imagination, encourage movement, and inspire discovery, each one led by our licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists.

Celebrating 39 Years of Dedication 🎉

After thirty‑nine years, Ebert is officially retiring, and what a legacy he leaves behind. For nearly four decades, he has been a constant presence and, in many ways, the unofficial backbone of our agency.

Officially, Ebert worked in our Assistive Technology Department, delivering equipment across the entire state of Massachusetts. Unofficially, he has been our handyman, problem solver, logistics expert, and the go‑to person when “that thing suddenly stopped working.”

If you were a client waiting for equipment, you were in the very best hands. Ebert navigated unpredictable weather, busy schedules, and countless miles with determination and professionalism. His persistence and quiet commitment helped people across the state live more independently.

Thank you, Ebert, for your hard work, humor, reliability, and decades of dedication. Our agency is better because of you, and your impact will be felt every time something magically gets fixed.

Congratulations to Karen, Development Coordinator, for reaching the milestone of 15 years of dedicated service at Easterseals Massachusetts! We asked what she enjoys doing when she is not hard at work, and she shared, "My life is all about embracing the seasons! In the fall, you will find me around the fire pit with Eric and my girls or rooting for the Pats. Once the weather warms up, I am either out in the garden prepping for spring or soaking up the sun on the deck. I’m also a bit of a thrill-seeker—I love I-Fly, elevated rope courses, zip lines, and the fastest roller coasters I can find. When I’m ready to slow down, nothing beats fishing, canoeing, and just enjoying quality time with my family and friends." Thank you for your commitment, Karen!
