What an incredible turnout for this year’s art show, featuring the work of 26 talented resident artists through our Opening Minds through Art (OMA) program—a program designed to spark creativity, connection, and expression.

89 pieces, one incredible show! The energy in the room was undeniable as bidders hovered until the final moments, helping raise over $2,000. 👀🎉

Residents, team members, families, friends, and community members all came together to celebrate not just the artwork, but the stories, creativity, and purpose behind each piece. 👏🎨

We’re looking ahead to more sessions and more creativity, making next year’s show even bigger!

We’re gearing up for another great Farmer's Market season, and we’re looking for local growers, makers, bakers, and artisans to join us!

Last season was our biggest yet, featuring nearly 20 vendors, and we’re excited to make this year even better.

We welcome a variety of vendors: Fresh produce • Baked goods • Coffee • Handmade goods • Artisan items & more

Our markets are open to residents, team members, and the broader community—making it a great opportunity to connect and grow your reach.

In 2024, Rodney received an ICAA NuStep Pinnacle Award, recognizing him as one of the top five wellness executives in North America’s senior living industry. Under his leadership, BRC has also been honored with both ICAA NuStep Beacon and Pinnacle Awards in 2023 and 2024.

✨ Celebrating HER ✨

To kick off Women’s History Month, our team member Amanda hosted a beautiful event celebrating nine incredible women across our community. Residents and team members nominated women from every level of living, along with two team members, for a special portrait experience with THE SKIRT PROJECT—a movement of women wearing skirts, sharing stories, and celebrating empowerment and authenticity.

At the happy hour gathering, each woman’s portrait was revealed to her, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow community members. One by one, they shared the stories that make them who they are—moments of strength, joy, resilience, and individuality.

This experience was made possible through an innovation grant submitted by Amanda, and we are deeply grateful to our generous donors whose support helps bring creative, empowering opportunities like this to life for our residents and team members.

It was a powerful afternoon of connection, confidence, and celebration—a reminder of the remarkable women who help make BRC the community it is. 🩷

Our Fitness Team transformed the gym into an escape room experience where residents worked together to solve puzzles, complete movement challenges, and unlock the “keys to healthy aging.”

Three groups took on the challenge—and this team set the record, escaping in just 19 minutes! 🏆👏

Teamwork, brainpower, and a little sweat… that's how we do fitness at BRC. 💙
