Our night-shift CNAs work 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and play a vital role in creating a peaceful and supportive overnight environment.

That’s all you need! No household name, no apartment number—we have a reliable internal process to make sure each card reaches the right resident.

Last week truly kicked off the holiday season here! We started with our Holiday Market, where talented residents and team members showcased their handmade gifts, treats, and crafts—a festive and heartwarming way to begin the week. 🎁💙

We wrapped the week up with our Grand Illumination & Christmas Open House, lighting up the community and ringing in the Christmas spirit together. Guests explored the 17 beautifully decorated Christmas trees throughout the Houff Community Center—each one unique, warm, and full of holiday magic. ✨🌲

Then, a few of us joined in on the Town of Bridgewater's Christmas Parade with our own float… and let’s just say Elsa was quite the crowd favorite! ❄️👑

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Lovelight Service at Lantz Chapel.

A heartfelt thank-you to Chaplain Russ Barb for leading the service, to the Village Choir under the direction of Wil Nolen for the beautiful music, and to Diane Metzler for lighting the Lovelight tree and honoring loved ones with each light.

Thanks to donor generosity, we raised an incredible $12,430 for the BRC Foundation! Your participation made this cherished tradition truly special.

🚴‍♀️🌤️ These bike riders took full advantage of a beautiful day last week! What began with e-bike demos and a simple ride around Bridgewater is now quickly turning into something exciting… the beginning of a biking group right here on campus. 😎💛

We were honored to host The ARC’s Threads of Inclusion quilt exhibit on campus yesterday! The talented artists supported by The ARC of Harrisonburg and Rockingham shared their creativity, stories, and incredible quilted pieces with our residents, team members, and visitors.

During the Meet-the-Artist hour, guests had the chance to talk with artists and see their work up close. From vibrant colors to meaningful patterns, each piece carried a story worth celebrating.

Thank you to and all the artists who brought this inspiring exhibit to BRC. We loved having you here! 🖼️💛
