How it began...

After a long run with the big dogs in corporate America, it became unfulfilling. I wanted to create beautiful things and make a positive impact in some way... Dog on the Porch is a place to find artistic creations and products that help people, animals, and the planet. You might find an amazing hand-poured candle that helps feed a shelter animal... or a gorgeous kantha quilt that enables a woman to get out of poverty... or a fantastic Made-in-Maine creation that is helping a hard-working Mainer feed her family. Eco friendly, filled-with-goodness products with purpose! I like it here on the Porch... and I hope you will too!
