Have you ever wondered why you feel terrible after sitting at a desk all day???

Well the diagram on the left, is likely the cause!

Most people don’t think twice about how they sit at the office.

Sometimes positions that feel comfortable in the moment, are detrimental to our musculoskeletal system in the long run.

Here’s some tips from our chiropractors on workstation ergonomics:

-Press back against the chair to support spinal curvature
-Adjust chair height so feet rest flat and thighs are perpendicular to the floor
-Utilize arm rests to relax shoulders
-Raise monitor to eye level and avoid looking down
-Take breaks and walk around!

Being mindful of workplace ergonomics, in conjunction with regular chiropractic adjustments, is key to a happy and healthy musculoskeletal system!!

We’re so close to Fall!!

The weather has rapidly changed, and that means it’s time to consider some change in our daily lives!

Here’s a simple checklist for this weekend to help embrace the cooling temperatures:
-Drink plenty of warm fluids
-Rest and allow yourself breaks
-Break out the hoodies and fuzzy socks
-Add root vegetables into your meals
-Enjoy a nature walk

We hope this list will provide some guidance and comfort on this lovely weekend.
