I obtained a Master of Arts in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from La Salle University in 2005, and I hold a license as a Professional Counselor in NJ. First and foremost, I believe counseling and healing work to be a collaborative relationship between client and counselor/practitioner. This relationship evolves within a nonjudgmental, kind, and accepting therapeutic space. I take a holistic approach to counseling with emphasis on teaching the practice of mindfulness. I provide individual counseling for overall mental health, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, relationships, trauma, grief and loss. My practice focuses on women’s health and personal/spiritual growth and evolvement. I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc., and have experience and expertise with Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I have also obtained national certification through Evergreen Certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). In addition to providing more traditional mental health counseling services, I provide spiritual counseling and coaching as well as Reiki. As a Reiki Master Practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing, I offer my clients energy work through both in-person and distance Reiki healings. As a community herbalist, I also provide basic education on the use of herbs and aromatherapy in promoting mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
