Many ask if you need to plan your funeral before making cemetery arrangements. The answer is no, in fact many start their end of life plans by first deciding on their cemetery preferences. To start the arrangements, all you need is:
- name of the cemetery
- deceased’s full name, birth date, and date of death
- the relationship to family: spouse/partner, parent, grandparent, friend, etc.
- decision on permanent resting place: burial plot, cremation niche, mausoleum, etc.
