The Easter Bunny made a special stop to visit us today—and let’s just say, this wasn’t your average bunny! 🐰💕

Not only were eggs delivered with plenty of smiles, but our talented bunny also made time to check blood pressures and mix up some delicious mocktails for everyone to enjoy! 🍹

Who knew the Easter Bunny had so many skills? It was a day full of fun, laughter, and a little extra care for all. 💛

📣 Save the Date!

Join us for the Aging Parents Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 29 from 3–7 PM at 242 Church in Brighton. This FREE event is a wonderful opportunity for seniors, families, and caregivers to connect with valuable resources in our community.

Whether you’re navigating care for a loved one or planning ahead, this event is for you. A caregiver is anyone who helps support an aging parent—providing assistance with daily tasks, healthcare needs, or simply offering companionship and peace of mind. If that sounds like you (or may in the future!), you won’t want to miss this.

💡 Resources include:
Transportation, nutritional care, support services, financial counseling, home safety, respite care, homecare, and more!

Please feel free to share with anyone who may benefit—seniors, caregivers, and those who support them.

Let’s come together to support those who care for others ❤️

Save the Date for our annual Aging Parents Resource Fair! This year, it will be Tuesday, September 29, from 3 to 7 pm at 242 in Brighton. Share with any seniors, caregivers, and organizations that serve seniors.

All proceeds from sponsorships and vendor fees support grants for Livingston County nonprofits serving older adults in the area.

The Glacier Hills Foundation will once again host its annual Walter J. Weber, Jr. Dementia Education Series in April and September 2026.

Through the Foundation’s generosity, Glacier Hills will make education available to all who have interest in understanding and compassionately caring for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. National dementia caregiving expert Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® model will serve as the training framework. The instructor will be Beth Nolan, Chief Public Health Officer for Positive Approach to Care. Formerly an Assistant Professor and the Senior Associate Director for the Evaluation Institute at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public Health (PITT), Dr. Nolan received her Ph.D. in applied gerontology and holds master’s degrees in Human Development and in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Each year, The Glacier Hills Foundation presents its inclusive Walter J. Weber Jr. Dementia Education Series to provide education and ongoing training to direct caregiving staff, support staff, family members, all residents at Glacier Hills, members of the greater community, and other area aging services organizations.

The Walter J. Weber Jr. Dementia Education Series is made possible by a donation from the Walter J. Weber family to the Glacier Hills Foundation. This series is complimentary and open to the public. Online registration is now open for both the April and September events:

What a fun and spirited day out! ❤️🧠

Our amazing residents took a trip to the Brighton Senior Center to compete in the Senior Trivia Contest—and while we didn’t bring home a prize this time, we definitely brought the energy, laughter, and plenty of brainpower!

Dressed in red and ready to go, our teams enjoyed some friendly competition, made great connections, and shared lots of smiles along the way. It was such a wonderful outing and a great reminder that it’s not always about winning—it’s about the fun, fellowship, and memories made together. ❤️

We are so proud of everyone who participated—you represented Woodland Village beautifully! And who knows…maybe we’ll be back for that win next time! 😉🏆
