Meet Chris Stuart! Chris graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Sports Medicine and went on to attend physician assistant school at Wayne State University. He has spent his entire career working in orthopedic surgery and brings a wealth of experience to patient care.

Chris has been a valued member of the Advanced Orthopedic Specialists family for the past 13 years, where he works closely with Dr. Farjo. He assists Dr. Farjo in surgery and also sees patients in the clinic, helping provide comprehensive orthopedic care every step of the way.

Pain pumps are used after certain types of surgery (but never near cartilage, where they can cause damage). They are optional devices selected by patients to decrease pain after certain procedures (eg. bone spur removal, arthroscopy, rotator cuff surgery). Removal of the pump is typically performed by the patient. In this video, Dr. Laith Farjo shows you how to remove these pumps easily. Please join us in welcoming Foot & Ankle Specialist, Dr. Tudor Tien! 👏

Dr. Tien, M.D., grew up in East Lansing and earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

He completed his orthopedic residency at the United States Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a foot and ankle fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
