Today, we are reminded that the story of Brighton Marine Inc. is not only one of service and care, but of lives brought together in ways that endure for generations.

This week, we extend our condolences to the family of Francisco Diaz, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who later worked at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Brighton - what many still lovingly today know as Brighton Marine. It was there that he met his future wife, who also worked at the hospital. They were married in 1964 and shared 61 years together, raising three children, welcoming five grandchildren, and celebrating the joy of a great-granddaughter.

Their remarkable life together began right here at Brighton Marine.

Stories like this remind us that beyond healthcare, beyond service, and beyond mission statements, this place has long been about people: the connections formed, the lives shaped, and the families built along the way. We are honored to have played a small part in such a meaningful chapter.

May his memory be a blessing, and may his family find comfort in a life well lived.
