They called it a State of Emergency. ❄️

At Brighton Post Acute, our team called it an opportunity to shine.

Through icy roads and challenging conditions, our dedicated employees showed up for each other and for our residents, proving that nothing — not even a winter storm — can slow their commitment, compassion, and teamwork.

From preparing hot meals and clearing snowy paths to offering constant support and creating comfort inside, every effort helped us care for one another and keep moving forward.

We are especially grateful for the way our administrator went above and beyond, helping staff get home whenever possible and ensuring everyone felt supported during the storm.

We are so proud of the team that makes Brighton a place of safety, care, and heart every single day.

This is Care, anew.

At Brighton Post Acute, our team doesn’t just care for residents, we walk alongside them every step of the way.

This week's American Heart Association Walking Competition brought staff together for a little friendly competition, where pedometers were clipped onto their wrists and steps were tracked throughout the work day.

Moments like these showcase the heart of our staff, creating meaningful experiences, promoting healthy living, and building connections that go far beyond daily care. Way to go, !

There's nothing better than flowers and friends! 💐

Every Wednesday, we receive a generous flower donation from Trader Joe’s so our residents can participate in a hands-on floral arrangement activity. They selected flowers, trimmed stems, created bouquets, and enjoyed the sensory experience of fresh scents and colors.

The activity encouraged socialization, reminiscing, relaxation, and creativity. Residents proudly displayed their arrangements in their rooms and common areas.

Thank you, Rabbi Shlomo Noginski, for your 5-star feedback and for recognizing the standard of care our team strives to uphold every day.

"I highly recommend Brighton Post Acute. As part of ongoing community work that I conduct here together with my students, including on Shabbat and Jewish holidays, we regularly visit and see firsthand the warm, personal, and dedicated care the staff provides to every resident. There is genuine compassion and concern for each individual. Especially noteworthy is the sensitivity to religious and cultural needs, including opportunities for Jewish activities such as prayers, Shabbat meals, Shabbat songs, visiting the sick, and special holiday programs. This is a truly special place with a devoted team and big hearts, going above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and personally cared for. Highly recommended. Rabbi Shlomo Noginski"
