The Livingston County Health Department will be free vision screenings as part of this amazing family event geared toward kids ages 0-12. Bring the whole family for a morning of fun with Pop-up Safety Town, Touch-A-Truck, kids’ crafts, immunizations, and more!

On Friday, July 18, Brighton and the surrounding areas will celebrate the incredible special needs community of Southeast Michigan! 💛
Hosted by 2|42 Community Church and Community Bible Church, Summer to Shine is a fun-filled picnic for individuals with special needs and their caregivers, families, and friends. There will be yard games, dancing, entertainment, delicious food, Kona Ice, and more — all in a warm, welcoming atmosphere of joy and inclusion.

Shout out to Dr. Connolly. He was at the Oceola Community Center in Howell yesterday, handing out free coffee and donuts to visiting patrons. We are always looking to spread the word about the services we provide to the greater Brighton Area!

He will be back to the center July 25th to host a Lunch and Learn to area seniors about the most common eye conditions we see associated with aging!

"I switched to the Clark Tait Eye Center when my ophthalmologist of 30yrs retired. I initially saw Dr. Tait for my care due to bilateral astigmatisms and beginning cataracts. He was attentive and caring. He has since completed my cataract surgeries with a great outcome. I saw Dr. Connolly for all follow-up. He had been very helpful in calming my concerns about regaining the sight I need to read my music. I would recommend the Clark Tait Eye Center to everybody. The manager of the office is also great."

Exciting News! Clark | Tait Eye Center Now Welcoming Pediatric Patients

Clark | Tait Eye Center is thrilled to announce that we are now offering pediatric eye care! We understand the importance of early vision care, and we are committed to providing expert, compassionate eye care for children.

Pediatric patients will be seen by Dr. Clay Connolly, OD, who brings a wealth of experience in treating children’s eye health needs. Whether a patient requires a routine exam or specialized care, Dr. Connolly is here to ensure they receive the best possible treatment in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Common conditions we diagnose/treat include:
✔ Strabismus (eye misalignment)
✔ Amblyopia (lazy eye)
✔ Eye infections
✔ Refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism)
