To The Families of Tomz Optical:

Over the last several years so many things have changed; how we live, work, shop and share time with others.

After 49 years in the community, we are going to step away and start some new adventures. We have decided to close our doors and explore some new horizons.

We cannot fully express our deep gratitude for all the decades of your business and support. Working with all of you as we have watched your families grow has been nothing short of an absolute pleasure.

It is with great sadness that the Tomz Optical family has lost our Patriarch and Founder. Thomas Zizka passed away on Sunday May 28th, 2023. He took his leap of faith and opened Tomz Optical on August 16th, 1974. He cared for Livingston County families and beyond for 36 years until his retirement in 2010.

Tom Zizka worked tirelessly throughout his career to assure that the optical community would provide nothing but the best vision for all. Tom was a very kind, warm, and charming man and loved taking care of all that came to see him.

Tomz Optical will be closing at 4:00 on Wednesday May 31st and Thursday June 1st. We will be closed all of Friday June 2nd to attend the funeral at Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home. Re-opening Saturday June 3rd at 9am.
Tom will be missed by his family and all that knew him.
