Dr. Mo update:

The good news is in the numbers: the sheltering at home has resulted in the lowest winter/spring incidence of communicable diseases among infants, children and young adults. I haven’t seen strep throats, influenza A or B, or RSV for the past several weeks.
At present and going forward, my office is open at the same location and remains spotless and continuously sanitized. We have spaced our appointments so no one overlaps with another. The patients essentially get the entire office to themselves during their private visit (one at a time)for absolute safety and comfort. All visits are by appointment only. In-office visits are limited to wellness exams, vaccines, annual health checkups, medication follow-up, behavior consultation, asthma and allergy management and minor injuries. For all other conditions including fevers and infections, most insurance companies are now allowing the convenience of telemedicine consultations (with applicable copay and deductibles, same as office visits). All requests for phone advise therefore are converted to telemedicine consultations as mentioned. Many families have taken advantage of the audio/video visits and saved themselves a trip to the doctor.
