This isn’t a standard structured role — it’s best suited for someone with a flexible, go-with-the-flow personality who’s interested in working with us long term.

Currently, we have two buildings available in Ann Arbor that could provide a consistent weekly schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (with the option to shift to weekends if preferred). These two facilites would total about 5 hours each night, giving you approximately 15 guaranteed hours per week, plus additional opportunities with call-offs, floor care,etc. We could increase more consistent hours as you get adjusted with the routine.
The position starts at $18/hour.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Nighttime Supervisor. This hands-on leadership role combines supervision with direct cleaning responsibilities, ensuring our team meets expectations and our client’s space shines every morning.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nighttime cleaning staff across assigned areas (Livingston county, some of Oakland County, some of Washtenaw County-most of the clients are in Livingston county)
Conduct site evaluations to ensure cleaning meets scope of work and client satisfaction
Perform cleaning duties alongside the team, especially at high-priority sites
Fill in for absent employees and cover open shifts as needed
Respond to emergency calls after 8:00 p.m. from staff and coordinate appropriate action
Handle special work projects as requested by management (i.e. strip and wax, carpet cleaning, etc)
Evaluate janitor closets for organization and supply readiness
Use cleaning equipment (canister/backpack vacuums, walk-behind scrubbers, swing machines, mopping systems)
Safely handle cleaning chemicals (eco-friendly focus at most locations)
Maintain security and confidentiality standards on-site
Communicate via smartphone (text, phone, email) with staff and leadership
Show up on time, every time, as scheduled
Reliability & Flexibility
Must be dependable, punctual, and available for night shifts
Flexibility to work on-call assignments and adapt to changing schedules
Willingness to assist with emergency situations, including:
• Locked Out: Decide whether to unlock or wait until facility opens
• Lost Keys: Meet employee at site, optionally assist with cleaning, ensure facility is locked afterward
• Alarms: Notify local police if triggered by mistake; contact emergency contact
• Call-Offs: Fill in for employees as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven reliability and a strong sense of integrity
• Keen attention to detail and pride in doing things right
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions
• Experience in janitorial or facility services preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must complete Virtus training
