Good company, great music, and plenty of smiles — Glenmere welcomed the New Year together in the best way.

Residents gathered for a festive Happy Hour celebration featuring live music by Milt Mashner & Friends, sharing conversation, laughter, and the joy of being together. The evening continued with a fabulous dinner, making it a warm and memorable start to the year ahead.

Moments like these remind us that the New Year is best celebrated in community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to longtime volunteer Mike Adams for a truly remarkable gift. Mike generously donated 47 leatherbound classic literature books to the Lily Brook library, enriching the lives of our Residents and opening new doors for connection, discovery, and joy through reading.

Mike has shared his time, energy, and heart with us for many years. His dedication continues to have a profoundly meaningful impact on our community, and this donation is yet another testament to his generosity and commitment to lifelong learning.

The halls at Friendly Senior Living are looking festive. Our teams have been busy decorating Christmas trees throughout the campus – each department showcasing its own unique theme, creativity, and holiday spirit. From classic elegance to playful surprises, no two trees are alike.

There is nothing more joyful than celebrating the holidays with our Members. This week, each neighborhood came alive with festive holiday parties filled with music, laughter, and warm connections. We are grateful for every opportunity to spread cheer, share traditions, and make the season bright together at the Friendly Home.

Joy and music filled the halls this week at Glenmere, our assisted living and memory care community. The annual Holiday Party featured Residents, along with the Executive Director, and our Music Therapist sharing special musical performances that warmed every heart — and Santa himself made a surprise stop to spread cheer. Moments like these remind us of the magic of the season and the importance of togetherness.
